About

There is so much wonder in this world.  We are surrounded by it, both near and far.  All we need to do is look and see.  The emergence of a new flower, from a baby bud to full bloom is something I never tire of seeing or trying to capture in photographs.  Inspiration is endless.

Poetry and words are also great loves of mine.  Words can touch the human heart across great expanses of time, across great stretches of land, and over great bodies of water.  I am continually amazed by the thoughts and the experiences, the joys and the sorrows expressed through the words of wonderful writers.

I hope you will find something here to brighten your day.  Thank you for stopping by.

  4. I’m glad I happened by. You have interesting perspective on “words” and their lack of boundaries over which they can and do travel to touch others. Some day if you feel inclined I’d be interested to know your profession. I’m a mental health clinician at the Masters level of preparation and I sincerely hope that does not shine through in my writing . I much prefer my avocation of writing poetry and songs. Have a wonderful day. I’m a fan already. 😉

    • Hi There – Just a quick note to say that I studied psychology at UC Berkeley…but life got in the way of my doing what I set out to do…which was to be a child psychologist. What I do right now is work as an editor for a marketing research company. I work from home, on the computer a lot. Thanks for stopping by and for leaving a note. 🙂

      • There are distinct parallels in our choice of education and path of study. I do really enjoy dropping by and I hope we nurture the friendship and love for psychology and writing . Thank you very much for reaching out.

      • You have my attention. I’m off to class in a few minutes but while the nerve is still with me I would like to know more about your studies and life that happened . Obviously only that which you are willing to share freely. You are intriguing. Joel

  5. Thank you for following my blog. You must be a compassionate person to care about the wellbeing of animals ❤

  6. Hello …

I just wanted to catch up and say “thank you. I appreciate your ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs out there.

Blogging since June 2013, my aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also add my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff thrown in for good measure.

The blog has grown to some 1150 posts now; so if you are at a loose end one day, you’d be most welcomed to stay a while and have a trawl through. There are plenty of drop-down categories within the menu to help in said digging process. Saying that, if you have any comments, suggestions or concerns, feel free to let me know.

Thanks again and hope you have a great day…

  8. I find you easily inspire with your gift! If you allow me one day I will use one of your photos/images with one of my poems. I am always moved by what you share my dear sister. God bless!
