“To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.” ~ Arundhati Roy
“To pursue beauty to its lair.” this phrase is beautiful… 🙂

She is an amazing woman…without a doubt. 🙂
Quite amazing! 😀
She’s wonderful – but the quote is quite a mixed bag, a melange, or bouquet. I prefer parts where she says to look around you and never forget. To me she is such a great voice for decency, dignity and nature.
Yes…I agree, her words are wonderful to me. 🙂
Reblogged this on sueshan123blog.
Such strong words dressed in disguise of softness…….love it.
Yes…I love this one too. Thanks. 🙂
It’s absolutely my pleasure to read it, it is I who thanks you.
